As the largest land grant institution in the Commonwealth, the University of Kentucky conducts numerous research projects, all designed to improve the quality of life locally, regionally, nationally and globally. From curing cancer to helping farmers to exploring commercialization in space, UK’s researchers are at the forefront of their respective fields, poised to make breakthroughs and important discoveries.

By partnering with these researchers, donors advance their good work, helping faculty to delve deeper and uncover more. Among the many ways they can help, donors may endow a faculty professorship or chair designated to research in a particular area. They can fund outreach programs or help pay for laboratory equipment.
