The Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) is a global organization for professionals in the nonprofit sectors that empowers individuals and organizations to practice ethical fundraising through professional education, networking, research, and advocacy.
UK's Collegiate Chapter, AFP Thoroughbred, is for any UK student interested in pursuing fundraising and nonprofit opportunities. UK's student chapter partners with the Lexington professional chapter, AFP Bluegrass, to give all students access to education, training, and networking with the local nonprofit professional members of AFP Bluegrass. Meetings are bimonthly on Fridays at 12:00pm. Dues are $25. Students can sign up on BBNvolved!
