Amplify your gift with a matching corporate gift. Many companies and corporations offer charitable gift matching programs. For every dollar an employee gives to an organization, the company or corporation will match the gift, doubling or even tripling their investment. Some employers even extend the program to charitable gifts made by employees’ spouses and retirees.
Each company has a different matching gift policy. Some require the matching gift to be made to a general fund. Others allow donors to designate their support to a specific college, program or fund.
