The mission of the UK Women and Philanthropy Network is to motivate and bring together women as leaders, donors and advocates for the University of Kentucky.

Note from the Co-Chairs
Greetings from the UK Women and Philanthropy Network! We hope you are having a wonderful summer and are looking forward to an exciting fall at the University of Kentucky. Our proposal submission window has recently closed, and we are eager to read the new ideas that faculty and staff have put forth to support UK students through our funding opportunity.
We hope you enjoy reading this newsletter and look forward to seeing you on campus at the Symposium on November 3.

Touring the Cornerstone
In June, W&P members and their guests enjoyed an evening at The Cornerstone, hearing from Dr. Seth DeBolt, the director of the Distillation, Wine and Brewing Undergraduate Certificate Program at UK and Heath Price, UK’s associate chief information officer, who played a huge role in bringing an Esports program to UK. Watch the Zoom recording of the presentations here.
By the Numbers
The UK Women and Philanthropy Network recognizes the essential and continuing role of women in the life and progress of the University of Kentucky. Our goal is to create a culture of service and philanthropy through members’ donations of time, talent and resources. Since inception, our membership has awarded $2,683,719 in grants to support students, research projects and programs at the university.
